Generic projects

ENVI

ENVI project type allows the user to load a range of ENVI cubes. No correction or processing is applied to the loaded data. The BIP, BIL and BSQ data layouts are supported with uint8, uint16, uint32, float and double data types.

Matlab

The Matlab project type allows the user to load spectral images from Matlab 7 .mat files (not HDF-based). Spectral cubes are supposed to be in BSQ memory layout i.e. with bands in the 3rd dimension. User may select specific variable and, if present, a vector defining the wavelength values in nanometers. For successive image loads, the same variable names are used, if available.

perClass

perClass project type is based on ENVI files and provides reflectance correction on load. Several correction setups are supported including point correction (by a user-defined spectral in the image) and non-uniformity correction for both snapshot and line-scan sensors. The format supports scan-specific correction where the references are stored for each scan and directory-specific correction with a single dark and white reference for the entire directory.

Data acquisition in perClass Mira always stored data in perClass format. This allows the users of all camera types to benefit from all correction modes.

The perClass project type is listed as "generic" because it provides support for multiple spectral camera types.
