Sometimes, it may be useful to define regions based on the existing object segmentation. You may accomplish this using Regions menu and Add regions from current objects.



A dialog box will appear allowing us to fine-tune how will be the regions created:



With the checkbox enabled, the existing regions will be removed before placing new ones. The button Currently selected class will assign each region to the same class, as specified by the current selection in the Classes list. Finally, the button Object decision on reg.annotation is useful when we work with regression modeling and want to assign new regions to classes defined based on the regression annotation value.
