Most of the setup for a session is done by an operator through the Model setup tab.

Project

The first step for starting a session is to load a project, this will be done automatically if the developer configured it, but otherwise it can be done manually by either double clicking on a project, or by selecting it and clicking on Load. The list of projects shown here is the list as configured by the developer in the Global settings and the project that is currently loaded will be shown in cyan.

Camera

After a project is loaded the camera may need to be initialized, this is also done automatically if the developer configured it, but otherwise the button to initialize the camera will be available in the toolbar.

If the button is active (like in the screenshot), then the camera is initialized, clicking it will then close the device. If it is not active, then clicking it will initialize the camera.

Correction

Once a project is loaded and a camera is initialized, then, if a project requires correction, it can be captured from here. With the View live button the acquisition can be started to check if the white reference is visible for instance, using the View live button from the Dark reference will also close the shutter if available. Finally with Capture the reference can be captured. If the developer configured that the dark reference should be loaded automatically, then the dark reference box will be collapsed and it will show "Dark reference loaded from ...". Developers will also have an extra button below to be able to load both references from the project for easy testing of the setup.
