The Specim SpecSensor plugin can be loaded by selecting Specim FX > via SpecSensor from the Live acquisition tab in the New project dialog.

The following cameras are known to work with perClass Mira through the plugin, but all cameras support by Specim SpecSensor should work:

Dependencies

This plugin requires the Specim SpecSensor SDK version 2020.519, which installs the DLLs listed below along with their default installation directories. The directories containing the DLLs should be added to the PATH environment variable (see Plugin loading).

  • SpecSensor.dll: C:\Program Files (x86)\Specim\SDKs\SpecSensor\2020_519\bin\x64

The Specim SpecSensor plugin has the following options available in the mira.ini file under the acq_Specsensor section:

  • toggle: a boolean value to toggle the shutter polarity, defaults to false, can be set to true if the shutter is closed after the dark reference is recorded.
