The regions tool in perClass Mira provides annotation of image areas. It is used for several purposes:

  • It is always available as an area annotation tool
  • It allows extraction of information from specific image areas
  • It provides us with ground truth information for object classification
  • It enables localized annotation of specific objects for regression
